Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
This policy describes how lin-gage.com (“lin-gage”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses information when you use our website at lin-gage.com, our cloud platform, and the optional lin-gage LinkedIn Connector Chrome extension (together, the “Service”).
Who we are
lin-gage.com is a LinkedIn growth platform. For privacy-related questions, contact us at support@lin-gage.com.
Cookies and similar technologies (website)
When you visit lin-gage.com, we use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, protect the Service, and—where enabled—understand how the site is used (for example, analytics). You can control browser cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work if essential cookies are disabled.
Information we collect on lin-gage.com
When you use the web app, we process account data you provide (email, password hash, LinkedIn connection data, contacts, campaigns, and messages) as needed to deliver the Service. Authentication uses HTTP-only cookies on the website; API access may use separate tokens.
How we use data
- Connect and maintain your LinkedIn account through lin-gage’s cloud platform
- Run automation and features you enable (engagement, campaigns, inbox tools, and related product features)
- Provide support, security, and service improvements
LinkedIn account linking
To run automations on your behalf, lin-gage must establish and maintain a stable connection to your LinkedIn account in our cloud environment. You choose how to link your account:
- Sign in on lin-gage.com — You may provide your LinkedIn email and password directly in the lin-gage app. Credentials are sent over HTTPS to our servers and to our LinkedIn connectivity provider (Unipile), which handles official LinkedIn API operations on your behalf. We do not store your LinkedIn password in plain text.
- Chrome extension (optional) — You may use the lin-gage LinkedIn Connector extension as a companion to sign in to lin-gage and link the LinkedIn account already signed in in your browser. Automation runs in the cloud; the extension is not required for day-to-day use once your account is linked.
Chrome extension (LinkedIn Connector)
The extension helps you sign in to lin-gage, link your LinkedIn account when you are already logged in to LinkedIn in Chrome, and optionally import LinkedIn search URLs you choose to send to lin-gage. It only accesses LinkedIn-related data when you take an action in the extension (for example, “Connect” or “Import current search URL”).
The extension may process:
- Profile fields from LinkedIn pages — such as your name, profile URL, headline, and profile photo URL, to confirm which LinkedIn profile belongs to your lin-gage account.
- Search URL import — the URL of a LinkedIn search page you are viewing, if you use “Import current search URL”.
-
lin-gage authentication — after you sign in, an access token and basic account
info (email, display name) are stored locally in
chrome.storage.localon your device so the extension can call the lin-gage API.
Extension technical disclosure (LinkedIn session)
When you initiate a connection from the extension, we read your LinkedIn connection session
from linkedin.com so we can link your account in the cloud. Specifically, the extension reads
the LinkedIn session cookie named li_at only from linkedin.com at that moment and
sends it securely to lin-gage servers (via Unipile). We do not read this cookie except when you
connect or explicitly refresh your LinkedIn link from the extension. You can also paste a session
value manually in account settings if you prefer not to use the extension.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the Service (for example, cloud hosting, LinkedIn connectivity via Unipile, and analytics if enabled on the website), under contracts that limit their use of your data.
Your choices
- Extension: use “Sign out” in the extension popup to remove locally stored lin-gage tokens.
- Website: disconnect or remove your LinkedIn account from lin-gage in account settings.
- LinkedIn in your browser: signing out of LinkedIn or clearing LinkedIn site data may require you to link your account again.
- Account deletion: contact support@lin-gage.com to request deletion of your lin-gage account and associated data.
Security and retention
We use HTTPS for all extension and API communication. We retain data while your account is active and as needed for legal, security, and operational purposes. You can request access or correction by contacting us.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
